With a Manufacuring Mindset
Facilities housing modern manufacturing equipment are typically large and open, but don’t be fooled as every square inch is utilized. Our 3D scanners have over 1000’ of range and can achieve extreme native accuracies down to 1mm. When we scan a facility, our data has exacting information on every column, beam, slab, platform, and crane that simply cannot be captured any other way.
Our manufacturing mindset means that we execute with scripted and reliable processes which deliver AutoCAD and Revit models with precision you can count on.
Drawing Formats, We Get It
While we work natively in 3D Revit, we get that you may not. Once we have a 3D record model, we can slice, dice, and deliver thrice. In a recent project, we produced the following file types from a single source 3D Model:
- Owner – 2D PDF’s with Dimensions
- Architect – 3D Revit
- MEP & Industrial Lighting Eng. – 2D AutoCAD
- Manufacturing Engineer – STEP file
How We Do It
We will work with you to understand your project requirements and provide a custom fit solution. Once we are green lighted, the most experienced technicians in the business are mobilized and execute the field work as expeditiously as possible.
We deploy the latest in Reality Capture solutions, primarily through 3D laser scanning, to capture environments from a single room to buildings that encompass entire city blocks, all with immense accuracy and detail. Through our understanding of where you are trying to go, we work with you to determine what level of detail and accuracy you require from the onset.
The result of 3D scanning is a single consolidated set of points called a Point Cloud. This point cloud typically contains far more data and information than is needed and can be tough for designers and engineer to interpret on their own. This is where the Spatial Acuity difference lies. We take it one step further and convert it into highly usable and purpose built CAD or Revit as-builts.
